Alessio is the founder and CEO of Forward Fooding, the world’s first collaborative platform in FoodTech Data Intelligence that brings together corporations and startups. He began his marketing career in a multinational beverage company but then decided to join a startup in San Francisco to head a market and business development team. Since Alessio loves startups and is very passionate about food, he decided to found the world’s largest community of food innovators. Currently, he is working with food and beverage companies of various sizes, helping them understand how entrepreneurship, collaboration and investment models can be used to build a better, more stable future for food. Alessio has lived and worked in Italy, South Korea, Australia, the US and the UK, where he is now.
Alessio often speaks at and consults food companies on the latest trends, technology and investment models to encourage innovation in the food industry.
Of late, Alessio has spoken at Food IT (USA), Food and Beverage Innovation Forum (China), Open Innovation Forum Food EIT (Spain), Food Vision (Great Britain), Food Matters Live (Great Britain), FoodTech (Sweden), Agtech & Foodtech Berlin Summit (Germany), Smau (Italy – Great Britain) etc. Just recently, he has delivered lectures on innovation in business models and corporate collaboration as part of the programs of the EIT Food Fan accelerator (Spain) and EIT Food Fellowship (Italy).
